In their words

You have enough to keep track of.

“Everyone wears a name tag now.

They are required, and for two years all we had was a sign taped by the clock. It did nothing. Now that sign is on the screen when they clock in, and the tablet takes a photo. The tag is either in the picture or it isn’t. The delivery driver gets back after we close and clocks out from his car on his phone. None of it needs me standing there, so I make my son’s baseball games.”

Neal G. · Owner and Manager, Town Pharmacy

“I see overtime before I pay for it.

The last shift ends at midnight, so the hours stack up where I am not watching. It used to turn up on the timesheet, already owed. Now it flagged someone on a Thursday and I moved a shift. For payroll I import the On Post report into ADP, check it against the timesheets, and I am done in minutes.”

Billing, answered.

What does the Free plan include?

The whole time clock for up to 10 team members at one location: QR code and PIN clock-ins, a framed photo at every clock-in and clock-out, flagged clock-ins reviewed with verdicts, scheduling, timesheets and the payroll spreadsheet. It is free for as long as you use it, not a trial, and every clock-in is kept for good. Photos on the Free plan are kept for 90 days.

What counts as a location?

A place with its own time clock and its own schedule — a store, a branch, a site. Two registers under one roof are one location. A business with one address pays for one location however many people clock in there, and adds a second only when a second place opens.

Do I pay per team member?

No. Paid plans are priced per location, and a location holds as many people as work there; adding a person never changes the bill. The Free plan is the only plan with a ceiling on team members, and it is free.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Every new business gets 30 days of everything with no card on file. When the trial ends you are on the Free plan unless you chose another, and nothing you recorded is removed. You add a card only when you choose a paid plan.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes, at any time, from Plan & billing in your settings, and the change applies straight away. Moving down or cancelling keeps every hour you recorded readable. Anything you set up under the plan you left — a coverage rule, a tip pool — stays visible; only adding more of it waits for the plan that includes it.

Is yearly billing cheaper?

Yes. A year of Essentials is $190 per location and a year of Pro is $390 — two months free, and one payment instead of twelve. The Monthly and Yearly control above the plans shows both figures.

I run more than one business. How does that work?

Each business — each employer with its own payroll — is its own account with its own plan, because hours and pay never cross between employers. Enterprise puts every business and every location under one login with combined totals, the full API with webhooks, and a price sized to the group.
